Updated meta-task packages updates rpmsrate to fix install conflictsPublication date: 10 Aug 2018
Affected Mageia releases : 6
This updates the rpmsrate file to prevent the installer selecting the now-obsolete kppp and kppp-provider packages. kppp is no longer supported upstream, and so a new version was not provided in the big Plasma update. If these packages are selected during installation, their dependencies cause conflicts with the newer KDE packages, causing the installation to fail. This also updates the rpmsrate file to remove some long-gone packages. This merely eliminates some warning messages in the installer log file (see bug 23357), as these packages have never been available in Mageia 6, so can't be selected by the installer.
